As a **GSOC Operator - Swing Shift** in **Milpitas, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in monitoring and communicating throughout a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.

+ Monitor and coordinate communication between various teams and personnel within the logistics and distribution location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, dispatching assistance as appropriate.

+ Maintain detailed records of all calls, incidents, and dispatch activities in accordance with site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Operate communication equipment to receive and relay information efficiently.

+ Support Allied Universal and client staff by providing timely information and updates on incidents or operational needs.

+ Follow post orders and instructions to maintain the security-related integrity of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
