    Duties/Responsibilities:

    + Greet every customer with a smile and top-tier service.

    + Lead and develop store staff through hiring, training, coaching, and scheduling.

    + Monitor store financials, sales, and cash/inventory handling.

    + Oversee product ordering, delivery reconciliation, and inventory levels.

    + Drive sales through effective foodservice and merchandising management.

    + Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance.

    + Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements (alcohol, tobacco, lottery, etc.).

    + Participate in leadership meetings and hold effective team huddles.

    + Uphold Jacksons standards, policies, and procedures.

    + Additional responsibilities as assigned.

    Skills/Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or GED.

    + Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (24/7 operation).

    + 2+ years of management or supervisory experience (retail or foodservice preferred).

    + A Food Handlers Permit as required by county, city, or state.

    + A proven history of exceptional customer service.

    + Strong communication and leadership skills.

    + Basic computer and POS system proficiency.

    + Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    + Legal age to stock and sell regulated products.

    + Strong attention to detail and a history of being self-motivated.

    + A hands-on leader who leads by example and thrives in a team environment.

     

    This is a transitional position. Store Managers in Training are expected to move into a leadership role within the company after completing the training program.

    Physical Requirements:

    + While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.

    + Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.

    + Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
