    As a **Security Officer - Media Site Unarmed Patrol** in **Arlington, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a secure environment for employees and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while your strong communication skills and customer service mindset will create a welcoming atmosphere.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

    + Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as directed.

    + Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or granting access as required by site procedures.

    + Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and/or client protocols.

    + Support emergency response efforts by following established procedures and coordinating with local authorities when necessary.

    + Maintain a professional presence while interacting with employees, visitors, and/or vendors at the location.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.

    + Customer service experience is preferred.

    + Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

    + CPR certification is preferred.

    + A guard card or license is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
