    Adecco is hiring immediately for a Material Handler / Forklift Operator with a local client in Durham, NC! Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

     

    + **Contract Type:** Temporary

    + **Pay:** $21.50 per hour

    + **Shift/Hours:** Night Shift, 7:15 PM – 7:15 AM, Rotational Schedule

    Essential Duties:

    + Stage jobs in various work areas, band skids, clean scrap, and load/unload trucks.

    + Move stock between loading docks and designated locations.

    + Transport materials using sit-down forklift, electric/manual pallet jacks, and other related equipment.

    + Secure loads in trucks using strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent damage.

    + Place materials on pallets, racks, and shelves.

    + Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and housekeeping standards.

    At a minimum, you’ll need:

    + High School diploma or equivalent.

    + Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

    + Experience operating a sit-down forklift and electric pallet jack (reach forklift experience is a plus).

    + Ability to lift up to 60 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs frequently.

    + Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
