Machine Operator – 2nd Shift
**Location:** Southington, CT
**Schedule:** 2nd Shift
**Pay:** $18 to $22 per hour
**Type:** Temp-to-Hire
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable Machine Operator for 2nd shift to assemble a variety of parts and subassemblies while maintaining quality and safety standards. This role is ideal for someone with manufacturing experience looking for stability and growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Follow all safety guidelines and use required PPE.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Perform inspections, including microscope checks, to ensure quality.
• Maintain organized workstation inventory.
• Document defects and complete related paperwork.
• Support continuous improvement, 5S, and team activities.
• Use basic inspection tools and measuring equipment.
• Assist with training new team members as needed.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months manufacturing experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Experience with inspection tools is a plus.
**Pay Details:** $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
