**Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences** is partnering with a global agricultural science organization known for advancing crop innovation and sustainable food systems to hire a **Plant Science Biologist** .
This role supports plant research activities by studying fundamental plant growth principles and evaluating the effects of environmental and physical conditions. The individual will apply standard scientific practices within a controlled research setting and perform a variety of hands-on tasks under general supervision. A moderate level of creativity, attention to detail, and adaptability is required.
Pay: 30-34/hr
Key Responsibilities:
+ Support research involving row crops such as canola, corn, cotton, and soybeans
+ Perform daily greenhouse and growth chamber activities including sowing, plant care, transplanting, harvesting, seed processing, and disposal
+ Clean and maintain workspaces, tools, and equipment
+ Accurately follow protocols and document work as required
+ Adapt to varying daily tasks based on research needs
+ Work in greenhouse environments with elevated temperatures, particularly during warmer months
+ Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
+ Participate in rotational weekend work as needed
Qualifications:
+ Experience growing plants in controlled environments preferred
+ Commercial greenhouse experience is a plus
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Education:
+ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Biology, Horticulture, or a related life science field
**Pay Details:** $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
