**Job Title:** Press Operator / Deburrer
**Department:** Production
**Reports to:** Operations Leader
**Pay Rate:** $20/hour
**Position Type:** Temporary-to-Permanent
Job Description:
This temporary-to-permanent position primarily involves deburring thin gauge metal parts using a variety of tools, including small belt sanders, finishing balls on deburr wheels, vibratory machines, and hand-held deburr tools. Candidates must have excellent eye-hand coordination and the ability to remain focused while sitting for long periods.
Additional duties may include learning new tasks such as ink stamping, bagging parts, operating hydraulic or mechanical presses, spot welders, fly presses, or mechanical power presses.
Qualifications:
+ Knowledge of the aerospace industry is helpful but not required
+ Must be able to work 40 hours per week; flexibility required as overtime may be necessary
+ Willingness to learn with proper training
+ Ability to work under pressure
+ Reliable transportation and good attendance
+ Positive attitude and readiness to work
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
+ Ability to complete deburring with accurate quantities in a timely manner
+ Ability to read work orders/travelers to punch in/out of jobs
+ Must be able to read and write English
+ Must have U.S. Citizenship
Compensation & Benefits:
+ Health insurance, short-term disability, and life insurance offered after 2 months of service
+ 401K offered after 1 year of service
Hours (subject to change based on workload):
+ Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
+ Friday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM
**Pay Details:** $20.00 per hour
