    **Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences** is currently hiring an **Advanced Oncology Nurse Practitioner (ONP)** in **Sevierville, Oak Ridge, and Knoxville, TN** .

     

    This is an **on-site, full-time** position.

     

    **Pay:** $93,000 – $120,000 annually

    **Type:** Permanent

    **Schedule:** Full-time, Monday – Friday (may include hospital rounds or occasional coverage as required)

    Primary Responsibilities

    + Triages calls from patients, physicians, hospitals, and home health or hospice agencies requiring medical intervention.

    + Performs patient evaluations and treats acute problems including oncologic emergencies and chemotherapy-related side effects.

    + Provides pre-treatment chemotherapy education to patients and families in the office setting.

    + Performs history, physical examinations, analyzes data, and initiates or follows established plans of care for oncology and hematology patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

    + Assists with preparation, administration, and supervision of chemotherapy and other office medical procedures as needed.

    + Documents patient history, assessments, and plans of care accurately in the medical record.

    + Serves as a first responder for infusion-related emergencies in the on-site infusion center.

    + Collaborates with physicians to formulate, review, and update medical protocols.

    + Participates in committees related to oncology and serves as a resource to office staff.

    + Refers patients to appropriate services when complexity exceeds the scope of practice of the practitioner.

    Qualifications

    + Minimum of 3 years Oncology experience as a Nurse Practitioner.

    + Certification by the American Nurses Association or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (Adult, Family, or Acute Care NP).

    + Must meet State of Tennessee requirements for Nurse Practitioners.

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.

    + Oncology certification required (Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation – ONCC).

    + Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.

    **Pay Details:** $93,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
