    **Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences** is working with our client in Colorado Springs, CO to hire a _Certified Medical Assistant_ for their facility. This position is in-person/on-site and requires candidates to be Nationally certified as a Medical Assistant.

    **Type:** Contract

    **Hours:** 6:30a-5:00p (4-days/week)

    **Pay Range:** $23-$24.30/hour

     

    _*Some travel to Littleton, CO may be required_

    Responsibilities Include:

    + Collects patient assessment data to include height, weight, vital signs, chief complaint/symptoms, and current medications

    + Prepares the patient for provider evaluation by obtaining specimens, positioning for exams, listing medications, and assisting during exams and procedures

    + Maintains work area, exam treatment, and lab in a clean, safe manner; restock with supplies as needed

    + Assists with lab procedures by collecting urine specimens, collecting, and preparing blood samples for reference lab

    + Documents patient information in the medical record to include updated treatment procedures, medication refills, test results, and patient concerns, etc.

    + Assists and processes all scripts, referrals, and authorizations as needed

    + Manages flow of patient care, while ensuring phones are being answered, and appointments are as efficient as possible

    + Schedules patients for injections and infusions

    + Orders supplies and medications

    + Performs diagnostic testing procedures

    Requirements Include:

    + HS Diploma or GED

    + ALL candidates must be a nationally certified Medical Assistant

    + Minimum 6 months of medical office experience strongly preferred

    **Pay Details:** $23.00 to $24.30 per hour
