    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our Inside Sales team. The primary focus of this role is to prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for Requests for Quotation (RFQs). This position requires a deep understanding of machine and fabrication shop operations as well as familiarity with nuclear industry standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Analyze customer RFQs for parts and prepare comprehensive cost estimates.

    + Collaborate with engineering and production teams to assess manufacturing feasibility and timelines.

    + Ensure all estimates meet nuclear quality standards and compliance requirements.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in machine shop or fabrication shop estimating.

    + Strong familiarity with nuclear manufacturing standards.

    + Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in cost estimation.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + 5+ years of experience in build shops with quoting and project bids.

    + Proficiency in estimation, RFQ, bidding, cost estimation, and project management.

    + Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and take work orders from the Sales Engineer.

    + Experience using estimating software and mechanical pricing.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Chattanooga, TN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

     

    Health. PTO, Holidays, bonus at end of year

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Chattanooga,TN.
