Electrical Engineer – MEP Team (Commercial & Mixed-Use Buildings)

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to join our MEP team in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you’ll design and deliver electrical systems for commercial and mixed-use buildings, ensuring safety, efficiency, and innovation in every project. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated solutions that power modern, sustainable spaces.

What You’ll Do:

+ Design and develop power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems for commercial and mixed-use facilities.

+ Perform load calculations, short-circuit analysis, and system coordination studies.

+ Prepare detailed construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.

+ Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of building systems.

+ Conduct site visits and inspections to support installation and troubleshoot issues during construction.

+ Stay up-to-date with NEC, local codes, and emerging technologies in electrical design.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

+ 2+ years of experience in electrical design for commercial or mixed-use buildings (internship experience counts!).

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software.

+ Strong understanding of NEC, energy efficiency principles, and sustainable design practices.

+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Raleigh, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

Paid time off contingent upon full time or part time status and level of seniority (ranging from 15 to 25 days per year). All full-time employees enjoy a minimum of 8 Paid Holidays per year.
