Job Title: Environmental Coordinator
Job Description
Join our team as an Environmental Coordinator, where you will play a crucial role in assisting the Office Manager with various organizational tasks. This position entails organizing schedules and driving routes for material technicians, while also managing essential administrative duties. Your responsibilities will include organizing office supplies, maintaining common areas, and coordinating events as needed. Flexibility is essential, as you will support smooth office operations when dispatch and fleet tasks are not occupying your time.
Responsibilities
+ Organize material technicians' schedules and driving routes.
+ Assist with office tasks such as organizing supplies, maintaining common areas, receiving/shipping packages, and coordinating events.
+ Perform basic and routine general administrative tasks under direct supervision to support a department.
+ Schedule meetings, update meeting information, and manage participants, location, and time.
+ Type and proofread routine communications, correspondence, reports, documents, and spreadsheets.
+ Compile and analyze basic information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials.
+ Receive and respond to routine correspondence following established procedures.
+ Maintain files of correspondence, reports, records, and/or contracts.
+ Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects.
+ Participate in pre-task planning and report any safety issues or concerns to management.
+ Maintain quality standards on all projects.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Degree in Environmental Science or related field.
+ Minimum of one year of experience in an entry-level technician/coordinator role.
+ Willingness to expand into the lab or field.
+ Drive to move up the career ladder.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with gINT Geotechnical software and AutoCAD LT is preferred.
+ Regulatory reporting and administrative support experience.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $25.00/hr.
