+ ASSESSMENT: The registered nurse completes initial patient assessment and reassessments as indicated by patient condition, and assures practices comply with human resources, policies/procedures, and professional standards. EF
+ CRITICAL THINKING: The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking by implementing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) and using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems, and assures practices comply with human resources, policies/procedures, and professional standards. + PHYSICAL ABILITIES: The registered nurse has the physical ability to safely and effectively care for patient population assigned and assures practices comply with human resources, policies/procedures, and professional standards. EF
+ MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION: The registered nurse manages medication administration and intravenous (IV) access according to physician's orders and assures practices comply with human resources, policies/procedures, and professional standards. EF
+ DOCUMENTATION: The registered nurse documents nursing care and patient status in accordance with the nursing process and assures practices comply with human resources, policies/procedures, and professional standards. EF
+ COMMUNICATION: The registered nurse has communication abilities sufficient to promote patient and family centered care by interacting with patients, families, and care-delivery team in verbal and written form and assures practices comply with human resources, policies/procedures, and professional standards. EF
Job Requirements
Required
+ Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. and One (1) year experience as an RN in an acute care setting., upon hire or
+ Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. and Successful completion of applicable clinical and didactic SRDH specialty training course(s) or program.

+ Basic Life Support - CPR
+ Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
Preferred
+ Bachelors Of Nursing Nursing and One (1) year acute care experience,preferably with an orthopedic focus.,

Pay Range
$44.87 - $62.19 /hour
