Description

+ Prepare treatment rooms to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

+ Verify patient visit purpose and record medical history in the EHR.

+ Perform vital signs and routine preliminary physical tasks.

+ Effectively communicate patient needs to providers and care team members.

+ Assist with compression stocking fitting and placement.

+ Manage patient flow and schedule follow-ups.

+ Support providers during exams, procedures, and documentation.

+ Provide prescription info to pharmacies under provider direction.

+ Administer injections and maintain accurate logs, forms, and patient charts.

+ Expertly transcribe provider notes and ensure all documentation is finalized in the EHR.

+ Deliver courteous, professional communication to patients and supervising physicians.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Minimum 2 years of Medical Scribe experience required.

+ Valid California driver’s license & proof of insurance.

+ Proven experience as a Medical Assistant, Medical Scribe, or similar role.

+ High proficiency in EHR and digital platforms.

+ Strong time-management, organization, and communication skills.

+ Professional bedside manner and ability to maintain confidentiality.

+ High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

+ Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

+ Fast-paced outpatient medical office with frequent schedule changes.

+ Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, stretch, and lift up to 20 pounds.

+ Occasional overtime may be required during peak clinic days.

+ Must be able to drive between clinic locations as needed.
