Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Insurance Verification Coordinator to join our team in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. This long-term contract position requires someone who can efficiently handle insurance verification processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and supportive office environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process insurance verification requests to confirm coverage and eligibility.

• Coordinate with insurance providers to secure authorizations and resolve discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate records of insurance referrals and verifications.

• Utilize software tools such as Office Suite, Excel, and RiskConnect to complete tasks effectively.

• Communicate with claims adjusters, intake clerks, and accounting staff to ensure seamless workflow.

• Address inquiries from patients and providers regarding insurance coverage.

• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and organizational goals.

• Report directly to the Executive Director and provide updates on verification processes.

• Assist in improving verification procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Participate in in-person interviews and onboarding as required. Requirements • Proven experience in medical insurance verification and authorization.

• Strong understanding of insurance referral processes.

• Proficiency in Office Suite applications, including Excel, and familiarity with RiskConnect.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• High level of organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Prior experience in a similar role within the insurance or healthcare industry.
