    Job Description:

    Our company is seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our IT team. The Systems Administrator will be instrumental in maintaining, configuring, and optimizing our organization’s computer systems and networks. This position will play a key role in ensuring high levels of availability, security, and performance for core technology platforms.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Install, configure, and manage servers (Windows, Linux, or other platforms) and key infrastructure such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and backup systems

    + Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliable operation with minimal downtime

    + Administer security tools and policies, including vulnerability management and system patching

    + Support cloud and hybrid infrastructure, collaborating with other IT specialists to ensure optimal integration and operation

    + Maintain network equipment such as switches, firewalls, and wireless access points

    + Respond to service outages and technical support requests according to defined SLAs

    + Document configurations, procedures, and system changes; maintain asset management records

    + Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing

    + Implement and support automation and scripting to streamline operations

    + Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in systems administration

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience

    + 3+ years proven experience in a Systems Administrator or related IT infrastructure role

    + Proficiency with server and storage management, virtualization, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

    + Experience with networking, firewalls, and security principles

    + Strong problem-solving and communication skills

    + Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco) highly preferred
