    Description

    Robert Half is seeking an Executive IT Support Engineer to provide high-touch, white-glove technical support for senior executives at a large enterprise logistics organization. This onsite role is critical in delivering polished, confident IT support while managing complex desktop, identity, and network issues.

     

    Duration: Short-term contract-to-hire

     

    Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM)

    Responsibilities:

    + Serve as the primary IT support resource for executives and senior leadership, providing white-glove, high-touch support

    + Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Windows, macOS, endpoint hardware, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals

    + Manage the full device lifecycle including imaging, building, provisioning, deployment, and shipping

    + Diagnose and resolve identity and access issues in Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), including MFA and hybrid device joins

    + Troubleshoot network connectivity issues including wired, wireless, VPN, and DNS

    + Handle escalations confidently and professionally, ensuring a positive executive experience

    + Communicate technical issues clearly and effectively without diminishing executive confidence

    + Assist with broader enterprise IT support tasks as needed when not actively supporting executives

    + Represent IT with professionalism, poise, and credibility, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership

    Requirements

    + 5+ years of enterprise IT support experience (Tier 2–3), preferably outside a call-center environment

    + Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 and light macOS support

    + Proven experience supporting executives or senior leadership in high-visibility settings

    + Strong troubleshooting skills across endpoint devices, identity/access systems, and networking

    + Experience with Azure AD (Entra ID), including user/group management, device joins, and MFA troubleshooting

    + Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across endpoint, network, and identity layers independently

    + Excellent communication skills with a polished, confident executive presence

    + Calm, personable, and professional demeanor under pressure

    Nice-to-Have:

    + Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash)

    + Process improvement or engineering mindset
