    Internal Candidates with less than 3 Attendance points will be considered for position

    General Description:

    Employee operates Bobcat to transport hogs from barn to slow hog area or rendering. Operator will have a helper to push hogs into bucket. Helper will raise hands after pushing hog into bucket signaling the operator to close bucket cage and proceed to transport hog to designated location. When not being utilized, employee will assist with washing of pens, driving hogs or other tasks as assigned.

     

    Employee may help push slow hogs into a bobcat bucket so they can be carried to the slow hog area, rendering or shackle table for stunning.

     

    Employee will also get tattoo numbers off of hogs and record them in supervisor’s office.

    Required skills:

    + Work 40+ hours per week in hog yards/barns. Environment is noisy, dusty, hot/cold temperatures, contains slippery floors.

    + Good verbal and written communication skills.

    + Attention to detail

    + Must be able to physically maneuver among live hogs.

    + Internal candidates preferred.

    Education Requirements (if applicable)

    + High school diploma or GED equivalent.

    + Previous experience in dealing with livestock.
