Job Duties and Responsibilities

Our marketing and advertising teams blend creativity, strategy, and passion to tell the DISH story—shaping high-level messaging, driving media engagement, and launching campaigns that define the future of communication.
This role will lead SEO and GEO efforts across Sling TV and DISH’s Pay TV business, partnering cross-functionally to improve visibility across search engines, app stores, and AI platforms. You’ll own on-page SEO strategy, including content development, keyword research, and metadata optimization, to drive rankings and SERP ownership.
Working within a high-performing team, you’ll collaborate with web, content, and device partners to optimize site structure, content, and technical elements for SEO growth. You’ll also help define, socialize, and report on SEO strategy across acquisition and media teams to support sustained organic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Own and support SEO initiatives that improve search and app-store discoverability for Sling TV and DISH
+ Optimize metadata, on-page copy, landing pages, and site structure to drive organic traffic and conversions
+ Conduct ongoing keyword research and competitive analysis using enterprise SEO tools to inform strategy
+ Partner with editorial, creative, marketing, web operations, and media teams to embed SEO best practices into content, copy, and creative assets
+ Develop and execute content, link-building, and optimization recommendations to strengthen organic performance
+ Analyze and report on traffic, rankings, and site metrics to identify opportunities and drive continuous SEO improvement
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year university **or** equivalent combination of education and experience
+ 4 years or equivalent experience in any of eCommerce, marketing, web development, or web content management OR 1-2 years direct experience in SEO for a high traffic domain
Skills and Qualifications:
+ Proficiency using AI-driven SEO tools and LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper) for content ideation and data-driven keyword strategy
+ Strong experience with web and marketing analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends)
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with minimal oversight
+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
+ Solid understanding of effective marketing principles with a strong customer- and employee-focused mindset
+ Highly motivated, growth-oriented self-starter with flexibility to travel up to 20% and work from the Denver-area office

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year
