AssistRx is seeking a Pharmaceutical Market Intelligence Analyst to play a pivotal role in identifying commercial opportunities, generating strategic insights, and accelerating growth across our life sciences client base. This role sits at the intersection of drug pipeline research, commercial strategy, sales enablement, and market intelligence—making it ideal for an analytical, curious, and commercially minded professional.
In this role, you will evaluate the pharmaceutical development landscape, monitor market movements, analyze buyer intent data, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for Sales, Marketing, and Executive Leadership. Your insights will directly shape targeting strategies, influence go-to-market planning, and expand AssistRx’s commercial footprint.

Market & Pipeline Intelligence
+ Conduct in-depth research on the FDA drug pipeline, clinical trial progress, and therapeutic category trends.
+ Monitor M&A activity, licensing deals, new drug launches, and indication expansions.
+ Interpret data from ClinicalTrials.gov, FDA databases, industry publications, press releases, and competitive intelligence sources.
Lead & Account Qualification
+ Identify and qualify high-value pharmaceutical and biotech accounts based on product lifecycle, market timing, and strategic fit.
+ Analyze buyer intent signals using platforms such as 6sense, Demandbase, ZoomInfo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator to prioritize outreach.
+ Develop detailed opportunity profiles that inform sales strategy and account-based marketing.
Commercial Insights & Reporting
+ Convert complex market data into clear insights, dashboards, and reports for Sales and Commercial Leadership.
+ Provide strategic recommendations on target segmentation, prioritization, and timing.
+ Prepare prospecting lists, launch calendars, and therapeutic area opportunity summaries.
Database & CRM Management
+ Maintain and continuously improve the master prospect database, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
+ Support Salesforce data hygiene, list management, and reporting processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
+ Partner with Sales leadership to align insights with outreach strategies and revenue goals.
+ Collaborate with Marketing to integrate market intelligence into ABM campaigns, messaging, and targeting frameworks.
+ Support executive decision-making by providing timely, high-quality market insight briefs.
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
+ 2–4 years of experience in market research, commercial insights, sales research, business development support, or data analysis.
+ Industry experience within pharmaceuticals, biotech, life sciences, or healthcare strongly preferred.
+ Working knowledge of the drug development lifecycle, FDA approval pathways, and clinical trial registries.
+ Experience using 6sense, Demandbase, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, or similar prospect intelligence platforms.
+ Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data cleaning, analysis).
+ Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and data interpretation skills.
+ Strong communication skills with the ability to convert complex data into clear, actionable insights.
+ Experience with Salesforce or CRM systems preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Experience supporting a Deal Desk, Pricing Strategy, Commercial Operations, or Go-To-Market strategy function.
+ Familiarity with tools such as EvaluatePharma, Citeline, TrialScope, GlobalData, or similar intelligence platforms.
+ Experience supporting sales teams in life sciences or working in a CRO, HEOR firm, pharma insights team, or biotech BD environment.
+ Understanding of account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and GTM lifecycle planning.
