Unit Secretary - Medical Surgical Department (Full Time / Days)

Work location: Texas Health Dallas 8200 Walnut Hill Ln. Dallas, TX 75231

Work hours: Full-Time, Days, 36 hours weekly, 9:00am - 9:00pm, Rotating weekend and holiday requirements.

Medical Surgical Department Highlights:

+ 12-bed, Level 1 trauma unit.

Here's What You Need:

+ High School Diploma or Equivalent

+ 1 year of healthcare experience strongly preferred

+ Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast-paced work environment, positive interpersonal skills, and good verbal and written communication skills.

+ CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required

What You Will Do:

ORGANIZATIONAL/TECHNICAL SKILLS:

+ Performs all tasks to meet the needs of physicians, staff, patient, and other customers.

+ Demonstrates acceptable organizational skills.

+ Communicates effectively.

+ Interactions include consideration for patient population specific needs.

+ Takes action to reduce/eliminate patient risks.
