    **Job Title:** 2 nd Shift Die Setter

    **Location:** Austin, TX (Manor, TX 78653)

    **Industry:** automotive, manufacturing

    **Status of Hire:** full-time, direct hire, hourly non-exempt

    **Shift(s):** 2nd shift (2:30PM-10:30PM) plus overtime as needed

    **Reports to:** Injection Supervisor

    **Press brands:** Engel, Krauss-Maffei, Husky

    **Additional info:** Kuka robots, Piovan systems

    Objective:

    As a Die Setter, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring smooth production runs by preparing, installing, and removing molds/dies on injection molding machines.

    Responsibilities:

    + Set up, install, and remove molds/dies on injection molding machines

    + Troubleshoot machines, robots, and material feed systems (experience with Engel, Krauss Maffei, Husky machines, Kuka robots, and Piovan systems is a plus)

    + Monitor machine performance to prevent downtime and maintain quality standards

    + Collaborate with Process Technicians, Maintenance, and Quality teams

    + Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely to move molds and materials

    + Maintain accurate records of setups and maintenance

    Requirements:

    + HS diploma or GED required, technical certifications preferred

    + 2+ years as a Die Setter or similar role in an injection molding manufacturing environment

    + Understanding of injection molding processes

    + Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts

    + Basic computer skills and strong mechanical aptitude

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for entire shift, and work in varying temperatures

    **Must be authorized to work in the United States, client is not able to offer sponsorship at this time

    **Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
