Job Summary

Havel is seeking a Controls & Automation Technician to install hardware design and software programming, documenting processes for the Building Management Control Direct Digital Control Systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

+ Complete typical installation hardware design and software programming using established standards as required

+ Provide detailed information to communicate design and operation to customers and subcontractors

+ Responsible for graphics building

+ Check out of HVAC control systems and wiring

+ Complete the loading, device verification, and commissioning of all system controllers as required

+ Document processes for the Building Management Control Direct Digital Control Systems

+ Perform site-specific training for owner/operator on the total system in full of assistance

+ Develop long-term relationships with contractors, clients, consultants, and subcontractors

+ Attend job progress meetings as required

+ Adhere to safety standards

+ Must be able to stoop, kneel, and climb ladders when needed

+ Other duties assigned

Qualifications

+ Minimum of a technical Associates Degree with 1-2 years of field experience or 3 years of equivalent related experience in the HVAC industry

+ Must have relevant technical hands on systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls systems

+ Strong customer and communication skills to a non-technical audience

+ Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

+ Niagara AX certified preferred

+ Must work in a team environment

+ Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.

**Compensation Range** : $18.00 - $45.00 per hour
