Position Overview:

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher (Mild/Moderate). This role involves providing specialized instruction and support to students with mild to moderate disabilities in an inclusive classroom setting. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create a positive learning environment and help students achieve their goals.

Key Details:

+ Shift: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM

+ Hours: 35 hours/week (may vary)

+ Classroom Setting: Mild/Moderate

+ Grade Level: Elementary or Middle School

+ Caseload: 1 classroom, approximately 10–15 students

+ In-Person Only

Compensation:

+ Local Pay Rate: $52–$55/hour

+ Travel Weekly Pay: $2,000 (see attached pay package)

Requirements:

+ Active California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential

+ School experience preferred

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
