Schedule: 35 hours/week, varies by grade level

Position Overview
We’re seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to provide high-quality instructional services to students in grades K–12. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, this role supports students with diverse learning needs through specialized instruction, collaboration with general education staff, and active participation in the development and implementation of individualized student programs.

Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, this role supports students with diverse learning needs through specialized instruction, collaboration with general education staff, and active participation in the development and implementation of individualized student programs.
Responsibilities
+ Provide specialized instruction to K–12 students with diverse learning needs
+ Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
+ Participate in IEP planning, implementation, and progress monitoring
+ Offer tutorial assistance and consultation as needed
+ Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations
+ Uphold professional standards of practice
Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
+ Valid state teaching certificate as required by district and state regulations
+ Minimum 1 year of SPED teaching experience (required)
+ Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsements
+ Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1)
+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred
+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred
+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred
+ Compliance with all professional standards
+ Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
+ Current health certificate per state or contract requirements
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
