JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the distribution of materials.

**The ideal candidate will have supply chain and inventory experience in healthcare and they will be able to work a night shift from 11:00pm-7:30am Sunday - Thursday.**

JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions

Responsible for daily room checks for patient chargeable equipment and the generation of the appropriate charge ticket.

Delivers all requests for supplies, linen, equipment and/or packages.

Maintains and prepares emergency carts and performs accurate emergency cart checks.

Performs inventory on and replenishes supplies.

Places orders with primary vendors.

Verifies receipt of supplies by checking merchandise against order documents.

Assists with traffic flow within Distribution Services.

Decontaminates equipment and instruments.

Stores, dispenses, picks up and delivers linen, patient supplies and equipment.

Stocks, delivers and maintains 24-hour par level locations and/or exchange carts in both patient supply and linen areas.

Participates in mandatory in-services, inventories and continuing education.

May assist with stocking, cleaning, or transporting in areas where medications are delivered or stored to ensure medications are secured appropriately (e.g., transporting medications from pick up location (pharmacy) to give to the Licensed Health Care Provider (LHP), or to place in the Medication room).

*EDUCATION*

* Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

* Preferred: Associate's Degree

*WORK EXPERIENCE*

* Required: 2 years Relevant work experience. or

* Required: No experience required with preferred degree.

Preferred: Materials Management or supply chain experience in healthcare, inventory experience, excellent customer service, team player.
