    Pay: $50/hr

     

    Schedule: Full-Time (40 hrs/week)

     

    Start Date: January 18, 2026

     

    Duration: Through the 2025–2026 School Year

    About the Role

    Amergis is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide quality instruction and support for students in grades 6–7 within a self-contained classroom setting. This position involves planning and implementing individualized programs, delivering specialized instruction, and collaborating with general education staff to ensure student success.

    Position Highlights

    + Caseload: Self-contained classroom, 6th & 7th grade, approx. 10 students

    + Interview: Virtual

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)

    + Valid Arizona teaching certificate (SPED license required; alternative certification accepted with relevant experience)

    + Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred

    + Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (preferred)

    + CPR certification (if applicable)

    + TB screening and health clearance

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
