    **Superior** is currently seeking an **Associate General Counsel - M&A** to join our team in **Houston, TX (Downtown)** (On-Site 5 days).

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Lead and oversee all legal aspects of M&A transactions, including drafting, negotiating, and reviewing transaction documents.

    + Manage and coordinate legal due diligence processes to identify risks and opportunities.

    + Provide strategic legal advice to senior leadership and cross-functional teams on M&A matters.

    + Collaborate with external legal counsel, as necessary, to ensure seamless execution of transactions.

    + Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

    + Manage and coordinate legal due diligence processes to identify risks and opportunities.

    + Stay informed on industry trends, legal developments, and regulatory changes impacting M&A activities.

    + Support the integration process for newly acquired entities, ensuring legal compliance and effective transition

    Minimum Requirements

    + A minimum of 7 years relevant law experience - M&A, corporate, banking or related areas.

    + A combination of law firm and in-house experience strongly preferred.

    + A license in good standing to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction with the ability to obtain a law license or limited in-house counsel license in Texas.

    + Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating complex transaction agreements.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + A positive attitude, high energy, desire to grow with the business and help maximize opportunities.

    + Proven track record of managing multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

    + A strong sense of ownership and dedication to personal excellence and improvement.

    Education

    A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
