    Job Description

    The Mortgage Closer is responsible for supporting the Closing function across multiple channels and plays a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate closings of mortgage loans. This position requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining efficient and effective processes. As a Mortgage Closer, you will prepare closing documents, balance Initial and Final Closing Disclosures, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners throughout the transaction. You will also manage escalations that prevent loans from closing, working quickly to resolve issues so loans can fund on time.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Experience with mortgage closing processes and documentation.

     

    Ability to handle and resolve escalations that prevent loan closings.

     

    Strict adherence to company policies (cannot change loan amounts, add lender credits, or approve POA beyond guidelines).

     

    Ability to pull reports, monitor closing dates, and approve or deny POA requests based on established criteria.
