24 hours per week. 3 8 hour shifts

General Description

The Radiologic Technologist will be instrumental in generating high-quality diagnostic medical radiographs, contributing significantly to the accuracy of diagnoses and the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

+ Document an appropriate patient history containing pertinent patient information regarding their condition and including patient limitations;

+ Prepare patient for procedure providing instruction and education;

+ Select and operate equipment; recognize essential condition for successful completion of procedure;

+ Perform Medical Assistant duties when required such as cast removal, stitches and staple removal, dressing changes and other patient needs;

+ Assisting physician in patient care as requested;

+ Other responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

+ Minimum of graduation from an accredited school in radiologic technology;

+ Unrestricted NYS Radiologic Technologist license in NYS;

+ ARRT Certification;

+ 1- 2 years of Radiologic Technology experience preferred

+ Excellent communication and customer service skills;

+ CPR/BLS preferred

+ Ability to travel to various OrthoNY locations if needed. Reliable transportation is essential.
