TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Teaching Agreement, salaried position, 1.0 FTE
Starting Pay: $44,976 to $88,220 depending on education and previous experience.
Grand Rapids Area Schools offers a comprehensive benefits package. The district offers contributions toward medical insurance including a health savings account. The district offers paid time off including sick and personal leave. District paid life insurance and long-term disability insurance are available to full-time teachers. Retirement matching and health care savings plan contributions are made after three years of service. Employees are eligible to attend home, non-playoff sporting events at no cost.

Licensure/Certification: MN Special Education Teaching License, EBD/LD preferred (or the ability to obtain)

### Minimum Education Required
MN Special Education Teaching License, EBD/LD preferred (or the ability to obtain)
### Minimum Experience Required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required to qualify for this position:
Minnesota Teaching license (Preferred – Multiple areas of licensure)
Baccalaureate Degree (Preferred – education beyond Baccalaureate Degree)
Verbal and written communication, management, organizational, and student supervision skills
Knowledge of current issues and challenges impacting public education and also the current developments to address these issues and challenges
Effectively use current technology tools to enhance personal productivity.
