    What You’ll Be Doing:

    As the Assistant Service Manager, you’ll partner with the Service Manager to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet company standards and safety regulations. You’ll also:

     

    + Lead, mentor, and develop your maintenance team in diagnosing and repairing issues.

    + Provide expert troubleshooting across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repair.

    + Help establish and manage preventive maintenance, make-ready, and on-call schedules.

    + Keep maintenance inventory organized and cost-effective.

    + Regularly inspect community buildings and grounds to ensure everything is in top condition.

    + Jump in to complete work orders and repairs as needed.

    What We’ll Expect From You:

    + Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and live within 30 minutes of the property.

    + Competency with: P-Tech HVAC systems, Individual Hot Water Tanks, Copper Pipes/PEX.

    + 2–4 years of related maintenance or technical experience.

    + Working knowledge of systems such as Yardi or Mobile Maintenance (preferred).

    + Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.

    + Pay Range: $21–$24/hour
