    Our client, a leading logistics and distribution organization, is seeking an Equipment Operator I to join their team. As an Equipment Operator I, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting order fulfillment and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Equipment Operator I

    **Location:** Carol Stream, IL

    **Pay Range:** $19.5

    **Shift:** Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts to select and transport products within the warehouse.

    + Label products using Sysco Order Selection (SOS) technology to ensure accurate order processing.

    + Stack and palletize products following safety and efficiency standards.

    + Stage pallets for loading at designated dock locations.

    + Maintain safety and sanitation standards, including equipment inspections and adherence to company policies.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

    + Experience operating ride-on electric pallet jacks or forklifts preferred.

    + Minimum of 12 months warehouse experience preferred.

    + Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas.

    + Strong attention to safety procedures and equipment maintenance.
