You will help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence, conduct routine patrols, and respond to situations as needed. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, making decisions based on established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.

+ Monitor and report on any unusual activity or security-related hazards within the location.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as required during critical situations.

+ Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Pepper spray certification is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
