As a **Security Officer - Facility Patrol Driver** in **Elk Grove Village, IL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service. This role requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for driving while on duty. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual conditions.

+ Monitor the location for any security-related concerns, reporting issues as needed to Allied Universal management or site contacts.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.

+ Support access control procedures by observing entrances and exits, verifying credentials when necessary, and assisting visitors as needed.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
