Position Title:Senior Accountant

Department:Shared Service Center / Finance & Accounting

Reports To:Director SSC

Position Summary:

Join Bilfinger’s finance team in The Woodlands as a Senior Accountant. You’ll manage full-cycle accounting responsibilities—from general ledger maintenance and month-end/year-end close to financial reporting, fixed assets, and treasury activities. Dive into data analysis and help enhance our shared-service center operations.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage monthly balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end and year-end close processes.

+ Prepare and review journal entries, including fixed assets, depreciation, intercompany, and treasury postings.

+ Maintain fixed asset register compliant with US GAAP, IFRS & tax requirements.

+ Perform weekly/monthly bank reconciliations and cash management.

+ Support internal & external audits and document SOPs and accounting procedures.

+ Analyze ledger variances and deliver insights to management.

+ Support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

+ 5–7 years of corporate accounting experience, preferably in industrial construction or services.

+ Strong understanding of US GAAP (IFRS familiarity preferred).

+ Proficient in SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel.

+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
