**Location: Mechanic Falls, ME (On-site),** 20 minutes from Lewiston/Auburn
(Relocation/housing support is not available for this position)
Pay rate will be based on your year of study.
Adecco is recruiting a **Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Intern** for a paid, full-time internship from **May through December 2026** . This internship supports **our client in Mechanic Falls, ME** , a manufacturer and designer of **static control devices used by equipment makers and end users across multiple industries** .
This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where you’ll work directly with experienced engineers on real-world projects that have a measurable impact. Schedule
+ Monday–Friday
+ Full-time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
+ May–December 2026
Key Responsibilities
+ Assist with the design, development, and improvement of mechanical systems and components
+ Support process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
+ Conduct data collection, analysis, and basic simulations to support engineering decisions
+ Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams on engineering projects
+ Help document project progress, results, and engineering findings
Qualifications
+ Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in **Industrial, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering**
+ Preference for students who have completed at least their second year of coursework
+ Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) preferred but not required
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills
+ Team-oriented mindset with a strong willingness to learn

**Pay Details:** $21.00 to $26.00 per hour
