Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and local sales and use tax requirements while minimizing tax burden.
• Provide Sales Tax Treatment guidance in the Equipment Finance industry and review exemption certificates for accuracy.
• Prepare and file monthly multi-state sales tax returns and support audits as needed.
• Streamline sales and use tax processes through technology improvements and maintain documentation per Tax Department standards.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with 4–6 years of experience in tax compliance or related field
. · Strong knowledge of sales tax code and ability to interpret regulations.
• Experience with Vertex Indirect Tax Returns and multi-state sales tax compliance.
• Proficiency in General Ledger account reconciliation, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with tools like Alteryx, Hyperion, and relational databases (Access, Tableau, Micro-Strategy).

**Pay Details:** $30.04 per hour
