• Credentialing Specialist - Managed Care

    **Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences** is currently hiring a **Credentialing Specialist – Managed Care** in **Knoxville, TN** .

     

    This is an **on-site** position!

    **Pay:** $20 to $25/hr

    **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

    **Assignment Type:** Temp to Hire

    Primary Responsibilities

    + Process payer enrollment, facility credentialing, hospital credentialing, and re-credentialing applications for physicians and advanced practice professionals

    + Manage **Out-of-State Medicaid (OOS)** enrollment for facilities and providers, including OOS Medicaid HMO plans

    + Review credentialing and enrollment applications for accuracy and completeness

    + Prepare and distribute requests for information, verification letters, and background checks

    + Verify licensure, DEA registration, board certification, and malpractice insurance

    + Track and maintain expirables including licenses, DEA, and board certifications

    + Enter and maintain credentialing data in credentialing databases (Visual Cactus preferred) and state-level payer systems

    + Follow up on payer enrollment status, reappointments, demographic changes, and coverage updates

    + Maintain accurate, confidential, and organized provider credentialing files

    Qualifications

    + Minimum 3 years of experience in payer enrollment, hospital credentialing, or physician credentialing

    + Knowledge of Joint Commission and credentialing standards

    + Strong data entry, organizational, and communication skills

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision

    **Pay Details:** $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
