Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a team based in Collingswood, New Jersey. As a Staff Account Your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Perform reconciliations for general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all financial data is complete and precise.

• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

• Maintain and reconcile fixed asset records to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Manage intercompany transactions and perform necessary reconciliations.

• Prepare and submit regulatory reports in a timely and accurate manner.

• Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.

• Collaborate with operations and production teams to ensure financial data aligns with organizational activities.

Requirements

The Ideal Staff Accountant will meet the following Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in corporate settings.

• Proficiency in handling corporate tax, sales tax and preparing corporate tax returns.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entry processes.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Ability to manage fixed asset records and reconcile intercompany transactions.

• Experience preparing regulatory reports and supporting audits.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams.
