Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Yuba City, California. In this long-term contract position, you will handle a variety of payroll-related tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with multi-state regulations. This role is ideal for someone who is attentive to detail, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is skilled in managing payroll processes for mid-sized organizations.

Responsibilities:

• Process full-cycle payroll for 101-500 employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

• Manage multi-state payroll operations, adhering to applicable laws and regulations.

• Utilize systems like Workday and ADP Workforce Now to maintain payroll records and generate reports.

• Conduct audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

• Allocate time and expenses accurately across departments and projects.

• Prepare memos and documentation to support recruitment and payment processes.

• Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot payroll issues and ensure seamless operations.

• Generate detailed financial and statistical reports for management review.

• Research and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees and external agencies.

• Maintain compliance with organizational policies and procedures related to payroll. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration or a similar role.

• Proficiency in full-cycle payroll processing for mid-sized organizations.

• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll laws and regulations.

• Experience with payroll software such as Workday and ADP Workforce Now.

• Ability to generate and analyze audit reports to ensure data accuracy.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Strong communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.
