    Description

    A mid-sized manufacturing company in San Marcos is looking for a Human Resources Assistant to provide hands-on administrative and operational HR support on-site. This role is well-suited for someone who thrives in a structured, production-oriented environment and enjoys supporting both hourly and salaried employees across multiple departments.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Support employee onboarding, offboarding, and status changes

    + Assist with timekeeping, attendance tracking, and reporting

    + Maintain personnel files and ensure data accuracy

    + Coordinate training sessions and safety compliance documentation

    + Support recruitment efforts including job postings and scheduling

    + Assist HR leadership with investigations and documentation

    + Serve as a point of contact for basic employee questions

    Requirements

    + 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience

    + Experience supporting hourly workforce preferred

    + Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

    + Working knowledge of HR compliance and labor regulations

    + Proficiency in Excel and HR software systems

    + Comfortable working in an on-site, operations-driven environment
