Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Director of Procurement to lead global sourcing strategies and optimize procurement operations across multiple regions. Reporting to the Global Vice President of Procurement, this role will focus on aligning international practices, enhancing supplier partnerships, and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring strategic leadership and innovation to harmonize procurement processes while meeting business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute globally-aligned procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency across diverse markets.

• Negotiate and establish comprehensive global contracts with competitive terms to mitigate risks related to market fluctuations, regulations, and currency.

• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring alignment with corporate social responsibility goals and operational performance metrics.

• Oversee procurement budgets across multiple regions, incorporating multi-currency considerations and conducting regular risk analyses.

• Lead international teams by recruiting, coaching, and developing high-performing procurement professionals.

• Implement standardized supplier performance measurement programs and ensure adherence to procurement KPIs.

• Drive digital transformation initiatives within procurement, including process automation and integration of P2P systems.

• Promote best practice sharing and cross-market collaboration to advance procurement excellence globally.

• Ensure consistent data reporting and standardization across international operations.

• Support process harmonization efforts by adapting global practices to meet local market conditions.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

• At least 15 years of progressive experience in procurement, with expertise in vendor management and operational execution.

• Proven track record of managing supplier relationships across a wide network of international sites.

• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders.

• Demonstrated leadership experience in building, managing, and developing high-performing teams.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to foster productive relationships.

• Proficiency in driving digital transformation and process automation within procurement.

• In-depth knowledge of contract negotiations and corporate procurement functions.
