Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Reports Writer with expertise in Power BI and hands-on experience pulling data from Oracle databases. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to support organizational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Design, develop, and maintain visually compelling reports and dashboards using Power BI.

+ Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from Oracle databases, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.

+ Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.

+ Write and optimize complex SQL queries to retrieve relevant data from Oracle and other data sources.

+ Ensure regular and ad hoc reports are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

+ Troubleshoot data issues and resolve discrepancies in reporting outputs.

+ Document reporting processes and maintain report libraries for future reference.

+ Stay up-to-date with advancements in Power BI and database tools to enhance reporting capabilities.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.

+ Proven experience creating business reports using Power BI.

+ Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries to retrieve data from Oracle databases.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.

+ Attention to detail and strong commitment to data accuracy.

+ Experience with other data sources and BI tools is a plus.
