Description We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team in West Columbia, South Carolina. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in supporting purchasing activities and ensuring accurate financial transactions. Responsibilities:

• Process purchase orders and log them accurately into the system.

• Maintain and monitor inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment.

• Perform data entry for purchasing activities and allocation tracking using Excel.

• Create and manage spreadsheets for purchase allocations, utilizing formulas where necessary.

• Assist in placing orders and coordinating with vendors to meet supply needs.

• Support accounts payable processes by reviewing invoices and ensuring proper documentation.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline purchasing workflows and improve efficiency.

• Provide technical assistance in Excel and other financial tools to enhance reporting accuracy.

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures for all purchasing activities.

• Communicate effectively with internal teams to address purchasing and inventory challenges. Requirements

• Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software. Excel as well as light formula use Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs

• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work with Excel, including creating spreadsheets and using formulas.

• Familiarity with invoice processing and financial documentation.

• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly.

• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

• Prior experience in a non-profit or similar organization is a plus.
