Job Title: CNC Lathe Prototype ESPIRIT Programmer** **Job Description
We are looking for an experienced CNC 5-Axis Lathe Programmer with expertise in live tooling and prototype operations. The ideal candidate will operate, set up, and program Hyundai WIA CNC 5-Axis lathes, primarily in the aerospace or rocket manufacturing sectors. Experience with Fanuc controls and a strong understanding of GD&T are essential.
Responsibilities
+ Operate and program CNC 5-Axis lathes with live tooling.
+ Set up and optimize machine performance for precision and accuracy.
+ Conduct quality control inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
+ Read and interpret blueprints for manufacturing processes.
+ Select and adjust tools, offsets, and feeds/speeds to enhance machine performance.
+ Work with materials such as Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Inconel, and Titanium.
+ Engage in prototype manufacturing and high-mix, low-volume production environments.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in CNC Lathe Programming and live tooling operations.
+ Proficiency with Fanuc controls and ESPIRIT software.
+ Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
+ Experience with sub-spindle operations.
+ Capability to read and interpret blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in aerospace or rocket manufacturing.
+ Familiarity with Fusion 360 software.
+ Previous experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment is advantageous.
+ Must pass a GD&T test.

Work Environment
The position requires working from Monday to Saturday, 7am to 6pm, with designated holidays off, including December 24th, 25th, and January 1st. Engage in a dynamic and supportive work environment focused on high-precision manufacturing.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Hawthorne, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $67.20 - $84.00/hr.
