    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Installation Technician to join our team in setting up a captivating exhibit. You will be responsible for unloading products from trucks, setting up various exhibit components, and ensuring quality and functionality of the exhibits. Your role will include putting together wall structures, metal components, display cases, modular structures, interactive stations, and custom-fabricated elements. Additionally, you will be installing graphic panels with precision to ensure a professional presentation.

    Responsibilities

    + Unload products from trucks and load them into the gallery space.

    + Complete setup of exhibit components according to blueprints and specifications.

    + Assemble wall structures, metal components, display cases, modular structures, and interactive stations.

    + Ensure quality, alignment, and functionality of exhibits.

    + Install graphic panels accurately on designated structures and surfaces.

    + Utilize carpentry and assembly skills with both hand and power tools.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.

    Work Environment

     

    Work within a museum environment, collaborating with designers, curators, and various installation teams, including AV installers and graphic panel installers. The role requires good collaboration skills and professionalism in a client-facing setting. The shift is from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with parking available on-site.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valdosta, GA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
