Join our team as a General Production Worker where you will perform essential duties to set-up and operate molding presses, producing basic rubber or metal and rubber bonded parts. You will be responsible for following verbal instructions and process sheets to ensure proper operation. This role requires assisting in the setup of molds and maintaining the correct running procedures. This is a **FULL TIME** and **LONG TERM** opportunity, looking to **INTERVIEW IMMEDIATELY!**
Responsibilities
+ Operate and maintain molding presses following verbal instructions and process sheets.
+ Assist in setting up molds as needed.
+ Locate and handle materials and inserts while following proper procedures.
+ Monitor presses for correct time, temperature, and pressure settings.
+ Be knowledgeable about critical areas of parts for all jobs.
+ Complete time sheets, SPC Charts, and process sheets accurately and legibly.
+ Report any issues with equipment, materials, or unusual conditions to a trainer or supervisor.
+ Use pry bars, measuring gauges, and basic hand tools.
+ Lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
+ Carry molded parts to designated staging areas.
+ Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment.
+ Follow safety rules and company regulations.
+ Perform other duties as required or directed.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to stand for 8 hours a day.
+ 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with machine operation.
+ Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with extrusion machines is a plus.
+ Familiarity with general production, hand tools, and machine operation.

Work Environment
You will be part of a team of 10 operators in our Molding Department. The facility is industrial and houses older machinery, offering a unique experience in a non-state-of-the-art environment. Training will occur on the first shift, Monday to Friday from 6 am to 2:30 pm, transitioning to the second shift with 10-hour shifts Monday to Thursday from 2:30 pm to 1 am. A half-hour lunch break and two 10-minute breaks are provided. The dress code includes work pants, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses, which are supplied.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NEWTOWN, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.50/hr.
