Aerotek is hiring for Water Transfer Technicians with Weekly pay!

Job Description

Join our team as a Water Treatment Operator working 12-hour shifts from 6 am to 6pm, operating on a 5 on 2 off schedule or 7 days a week depending on business. You will be a crucial part of our operations, focusing on water treatment processes within the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities

+ Staffed on fracs and stationed at pump stations.

+ Monitor tanks and manage the setup and takedown of equipment.

+ Load, unload, and identify materials, machinery, and tools, distributing them to appropriate locations according to project plans.

+ Store and stack materials safely.

+ Tend to pumps and generators ensuring optimal operation.

+ Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate potential hazards.

+ Operate hand and power tools effectively and safely.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 6 months experience within the oil and gas sector.

+ Proficient knowledge of construction machines and tools, including their designs, uses, and repair.

+ Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting materials up to 100 lbs.

+ Strong visual abilities, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and color vision.

+ Capability for rapid mental coordination and maintaining alertness throughout the shift.

+ Experience in water transfer, rig up/rig down, construction, and construction labor backgrounds.

Work Environment

Work primarily takes place outdoors on frac pads. Be prepared for varying weather conditions, especially as we approach the winter months. The position requires a strong commitment, with the expectation to work 75+ hours per week, including additional hours when necessary.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wheeling, WV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
