    Job Title: Conveyor Maintenance Mechanic

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Conveyor Maintenance Mechanic who is proficient in a variety of maintenance tasks, including painting, torch cutting, and electrical work (120V-240V). The role involves using multi-meters and AMP meters, managing inventory, and handling the disposal of hazardous materials. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints, maintaining conveyors, and installing and replacing safety sensors.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform conveyor maintenance, ensuring all systems are functioning optimally.

    + Install and replace safety sensors to maintain equipment safety standards.

    + Conduct electrical repairs and wiring of components operating at 120V-240V.

    + Use multi-meters and AMP meters for troubleshooting and diagnostics.

    + Maintain an organized workstation and proper storage of equipment and tools.

    + Manage inventory control and maintain records accurately.

    + Dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and work orders for maintenance tasks.

    + Perform TIG and MIG welding as needed.

    + Handle hydraulics and pneumatics for maintenance and repair tasks.

    + Conduct concrete repairs and maintain platforms.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficient in maintenance techniques, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding (MIG, TIG).

    + Skilled in electrical repair and wiring for 120V-240V systems.

    + Experience with multi-meters, AMP meters, and inventory control.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Knowledge of mechanical systems and conveyor mechanics.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 5S experience is considered a plus.

    + Experience in TIG welding and concrete repair.

    + Ability to maintain an organized workspace and equipment storage.

    Work Environment

     

    The position operates on a mid-shift from 4 PM to 12:30 AM, with potential overtime extending from 2 PM to 12:30 AM. Partial shifts on weekends may be required. The work is performed in a well-maintained facility with a focus on maintaining a clean and organized environment.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
